Storytelling has been used to pass on information from one generation to the next. It has no age limit, and has been instrumental in rebuilding damaged lives.
Elaine blends drama and music to present her own unpredictable and exciting brand of storytelling.
Scenes come to life in her listeners' imagination, as monkeys swing through the trees and snakes slither across the forest floor.
Elaine creates a magical, mysterious and fun-filled atmosphere for her listeners; through here use of words and by engaging the five senses.
Inspiring children to write and realise the power of words is a very important part of Elaine’s work. She has worked extensively with children with a variety of needs, all enjoying tremendous success.
Children sometimes use a limited vocabulary during every-day speech... Through organised and pre-planned workshops with teachers, Elaine focuses on developing literacy and creative skills.
